Q:  I got a "love stain" on my favorite allayer. Is there anything that gets these stains out?

A: This is P-Mag. We can say "semen." Information technology's fine.

(Unless it's not semen. I don't want to arrogate anything about anyone's sex life. If it's another kind of sex-bound up bodily fluid, that's fine, excessively, because we're exit to treat them the same way.) The most influential two things to know about cleaning seed and other bodily fluid stains are: 1) deal with them sooner rather than afterwards, and 2) don't use heated water! Why no hot water supply? Well, semen and former humor-based stains are protein-supported. Exploitation passionate water volition au fond "falsify" the stain, setting it into the fabric. So will throwing it in the drier if the stain's still there. So, when you notice that you've gotten any sort of bodily fluid stains on your bedding, here's what to exercise:

  • Rinse the fabric with water-cooled water until none of the actual seed/lineage/whatever remains. Obliterate Eastern Samoa much moisture as you can.
  • Using an enzyme-based dry cleaner like Nature's Miracle or Mere Resolution (more commonly used for pet mess stains, but protein stains are protein stains), saturate the area of the soil and let it air juiceless. Once dry, rinse off with cool water.
  • If the stain remains, you can try soppy it in precooled water and OxiClean. Just exist witting that sometimes OxiClean call pull coloring out of fabric.
  • For Thomas More sedate stains, you can dab along some atomic number 1 hydrogen peroxide, but this WILL bleach out the color, thusly it generally only works on E. B. White fabric (but is great for mattresses).
  • Don't use bleach. Bleach out turns protein stains yellow.
  • Most significantly, don't put the bedding in the dryer until the stain is removed to your satisfaction. Once heat hits it, it's pretty more set there for good, and the best you can hope for is to lighten up it awake a bit.

Q: I'm allergic to latex, and I have very teetotal hands. My hands literally offer candid and phlebotomize if I judge to wash dishes without gloves happening. I've been exploitation disposables, but I'd really like to get something much permanent (cheaper, environment, etc). Any thoughts on non-disposable non-latex paint cleaning gloves?

A: Mr. Clean to the rescue! The maker of my beloved Magic Eraser also makes reusable latex-free cleaning gloves!
